My First Time

Well I finally decided to try this blog thing so here it goes!  Life in here in California has been pretty crazy lately.  I can't believe it and as most of your already know Logan is going to be 3 years old on Sept. 11th.  So I've been trying to put together a small Thomas the Train birthday party for him.  It's just a couple of his friends and mostly family but he already knows he's getting a jumpy house and cake.  He's so excited, he keeps telling me it's almost birthday party time :)  He is growing up so fast I can't believe it.  He is totally potty trained, no diapers at all.  I just told him Mommy didn't have the money to buy diapers anymore and that was it.  I think in the last 2 weeks he's only had 2 accidents!!  Not too bad if you ask me.  Plus, I finally found a school I really like for him.  He will be starting Preschool in just a week or so at Bethel Preschool and Kindergarten just down the street from mom and dad's house.  They have awesome classrooms, security camera's everywhere and a structured schedule.  It has been difficult to find some place where the staff is comfortable with the fact that this 3 year old will ask questions about death and God.  And I figured it's not such a bad idea for him to learn more about God and Heaven.

As for me I'm starting to look for work, probably going back into the medical field.  I've been having some difficulties with the bank regarding the home mortgage and the constant paper work and phone calls seem to be never ending.  Getting back into a schedule seems to be nearly impossible but I keep trying.  Other than that I've just been trying to enjoying my time with Logi.  He s definitely in the terrible 2/ horrific 3 phase.  He's stubborn and loves to test the boundaries but he's also incredibly smart and outgoing.  He's a typical boy and has no fear when it comes to new adventures.  These days it's almost impossible to keep the house clean because he loves to take the couch cushions and build hiding forts.  And he thinks it's so cool to pretend to drive in my truck which really means turning all the knobs and taking everything out of all the compartments.  If he can get his hands on any tools watch out because here comes my engineer :)  He will try to disassemble any and everything and pretend to put them back together.  He's a handful and yet so amazing to watch and play with.  He definitely has a vivid imagination and without a doubt is so much like Bill.   It's awesome!!!

Mom and Dad are doing well and actually getting ready to go on a well deserved 3 week vacation.  Dad has gone back to work which I'm sure he is grateful to finally be back in the work force again.  Mom's company recently downsized so I know she's been feeling overwhelmed and swamped.  So I'm glad they finally are taking some time together to get away and really have some fun!!

Buddy is still my 'lil hard worker :)  He's working at Terminex as a sales manager.  He is in a relationship with a wonderful beautiful girl who is absolutely loved by everyone in the family.  She has 2 little girls Raina and Alana  who Logan loves to play with.  It's so cool to see my brother play with the kids he is such an awesome daddy figure :)

So like I said life has been pretty crazy but over all it's good.  I hope everyone is doing well and I miss everyone.
